This is probably not the last time you will hear of me using essential oils for relief. But for this particular post I am focusing on the oils I will be using during & after labor and on our newborn.

I basically discovered my gluten-intolerance by process of elimination, which soon led to my celiac diagnosis. So it makes sense to me if we want to understand what foods may or may not be contributing to flares we should eliminate them for a period of time, individually reintroduce those foods back to our diets and then evaluate symptoms.

even when i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia we knew there was probably more going on. my symptoms were not managed entirely and the joint pain began to outweigh all the other issues i had going on. the physicians suspected Rheumatoid Arthritis, my symptoms just lined up but with a negative RA factor, no joint deterioration to speak of, they could not make a certain diagnosis. after four years & 100’s of doc appointments and my symptoms becoming increasingly debilitating, my RA factor came back positive.
in 2005 i was in a roll-over car accident… we were leaving the ski hill, coming down the switchbacks, i was still removing some of my snow gear & stupidly did not have my seatbelt on. so when we rolled i landed on my head. this resulted in a bulged disk in my neck, damage to my low back and right sacroiliac (SI) joint.
